She has red and sometimes auburn colored hair and green eyes. She's not as cute and adorable as her younger sister. Mads thinks it's because of all the freckles, though if told by the right person - Mads will totally blush if her freckles get a compliment. She wears the rich girl wardrobe when she goes to school, but when she's off in the city, Mads tones it down and wears whatever is comfortable - even if it's a paint spattered sweatsuit. Emma Stone Personal History: Madeline was born a very privileged little girl. Anything she could ever want was at her fingertips. As she grew up, she definitely took advantage of it from time to time, even if sometimes there were consequences to the some of the stunts she pulled. Mads didn't care about being the good girl and would often push the limits to her parents, as well as teachers in school. Usually, she doesn't get on with her sister since they are so different. Mads doesn't quite understand why her little sister insists on donating her presents and money. Mads doesn't really try in school. She tends to be a C student, with a couple of A's every once in a while in classes she tries to do well when it's in her best interest, such as her art classes. You will never find her missing any of those classes for any reason. Art has always been her favorite subject and she likes exploring the various aspects of the art world. She loves spending hours upon hours in galleries. One goal that Mads hopes to accomplish is to become a successful artist in her own right and be featured in famous galleries all over the world. While she dabbles in every single media, and she is expected to do certain things for her art class, Mads finds herself leaning towards photography more. She's keeping with the times. In the last couple of years, Mads has been spending any free time she has in the city. At first it was to explore the art world more, but Mads found so much more. At first, Mads was content on being a rich girl and everything that came with it. When she entered the world of artists in New York City, she learned that it was completely different from what she originally thought it would be. At first she didn't want to have that lifestyle. She wanted to continue to be the rich girl who still had everything handed to her. As she began spending more and more time in the city, Mads began to better understand the artists. She quickly became friends with most of the community, especially one young artist by the name of Molly Thompson. Molly is the one who truly showed Mads the whole community and has been helping her in her techniques. Spending all of her time with Molly, Mads learned that despite having a boyfriend of her own, whom she thought she loved, Mads fell in love with her. She didn't even know she had feelings for girls. She's certainly learned to respect the LGBT community. Personality: [include quirks, weaknesses, strengths, intelligence level, self-esteem, etc.) Mads has smarts, but she doesn't apply herself. She wants to be an artist, so why does she need to do exceedingly well in her high school classes? Sure, she plans to go to college as an art major, but aside from art classes there are very few classes that she feels she needs to do well in. She admits that she's still a selfish brat, despite what has recently been going on with her life. She wants the world to be easy and handed to her as it has always been. Mads really wants to tell her family and friends about her girlfriend. Instead, she's just going to keep lying about her and some of the things she really gets up to in the city. Mads has an extremely bad habit of lying and being secretive. She'll lie about anything and everything. She even creates sob stories if she gets scolded at school for why her homework isn't finished. Plus, Mads doesn't want her parents to know who she hangs out with or what parts of the city she goes to by herself. And she will do anything to keep herself from being forbidden to go to the city. Writing Samples. [these must be for the current character] First person journal: [200 word minimum] Spring Art Show is rapidly approaching. I'm never going to get my pieces done in time. Why did I sign up to enter 5 new pieces? If anyone needs me for anything other than preparing for the art show, well I'll obviously be in the art classrooms. [Filtered to herself] I want to be spending this time with Molly. This is all Mrs. Jones fault. She insisted that I make 5 new pieces. What the hell? What was wrong with all the collage and painting I did last semester? It's not like we had a winter showcase. Mrs. Jones just doesn't get me. She thinks I'm horrible, I know it. That stupid tornado ruined everything. If it hadn't happened, I would be hearing praises from Ms. Glass right now. Now that woman knew art. And I could be spending all my weekends with my hot girlfriend. Maybe I will chance it and get her to model for a couple of pieces. Need to make sure that Alex is just as busy this weekend so he doesn't pester me to spend time with him too. Why does everything have to be so complicated?
